MARCH 28: Building Inclusive Teams
Despite technology rapidly leading the way in innovation and new approaches to leadership development, Diversity and Inclusion is an aspect of culture change that’s ripe for disruption.
Explosive controversies at companies like Uber, Twitter, GitHub, Tinder, etc, etc…continually remind us of the struggles in successfully creating inclusive cultures and retaining a diverse workforce.
We’re gathering culture builders and diversity & inclusion practitioners from across the culture development space to expand and deepen the conversation, exchange learnings and propose new solutions for addressing the real-life barriers to inclusion in our own teams and companies.
What you’ll takeaway
In this interactive 2-hour workshop, our SF Culture Labx team will guide you through a community of practice approach in small groups to:
Culture Labx is a community of experimenters and culture pioneers on the leading edge of advancing the future of the workplace. This Community of Practice series is a hands-on, collaborative deep dive into the art + science of culture change. Practitioners and culture-builders will explore together and share exposure to best practices in the field, with leading practitioners in innovative Bay Area companies.
We’re applying a research-based Community of Practice model to create meaningful interaction and connection. We’ll collectively brainstorm ideas and creative solutions to common challenges, that you can takeaway to try with your own team.
Experiment with us
Culture design is challenging—it really does take a village. We encourage you to register as a pair or as a team—you can be co-workers, co-conspirators, or collaborators. Shared experiences help foster more connection and creativity!
Regardless of whether you come solo or with others, we’ve designed this workshop to ensure that everyone walks away with a new connection or two, to support them in their work!
